Summer is finally here, which calls for more beach days and more fun in the sun! However, don’t forget to take the proper steps to care for your skin when spending time outdoors! We have put together some tips on how to keep your skin looking radiant this summer.

Sunscreen is a Must!

UV rays from the sun are some of the biggest culprits when it comes to early signs of aging. Be sure to wear sunscreen every day, even if it is not sunny out, and especially when spending time outdoors. Purchase a sunscreen that is at least SPF 30, and reapply every 1-2 hours if you are in the sun to ensure effectiveness.

Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated = healthy skin! On average, you should try to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. If you are having trouble drinking enough, carry a water bottle with you and aim to drink at least once every 30 minutes.

Use Lotion Regularly
Spending time in the sun can dehydrate your skin. Be sure to apply body lotion regularly, especially after bathing or washing. This will help to seal in the moisture that your body just soaked in.

Don’t Forget your Lips!

The lips are sensitive and delicate, so be sure to apply lip balm with an SPF daily! No one wants to deal with sunburnt lips, and this is a great way to keep them youthful and kissable.
