The traditional surgical breast lift (mastopexy) involved some type incision around and below the nipple, leaving a permanent scar. A supportive athletic-type bra with taping is then utilized for several weeks to ensure adequate support and lifting. Patients can return to work almost immediately and resume their normal exercise routines in several days.
