When you look into the mirror, are you noticing that your skin is looking less-than-perfect? There are many common skin conditions that can affect our complexion, including acne, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, rough skin, and sun damage. Chemical peels are a great noninvasive solution to these problems for a beautiful glow. Read on to learn more about these peels.

What are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are treatments that use a chemical solution to improve the skin’s appearance. This chemical solution is safe to use on the skin, and simply causes the old, dead skin cells to fall off, revealing new, smoother skin. Chemical peels are very versatile, and can be used on the face, neck, or hands.

At Brandon Plastic Surgery, we offer a selection of different chemical peels to address your individual aesthetic concerns. These include:

Glycolic Acid Peels: These peels are mild and can be completed within 10-15 minutes. Most patients will need a series of Glycolic Acid peels over 1-3-week intervals for best results.

TCA Peels: These are mild peels that are quick and easy, which is why it is considered a “lunchtime peel”. Treatments take about 5-20 minutes, and results are apparent within several days.

PHENOL Peels: These peels are deeper than the others, and are used to address more advanced sun damage, discoloration, and surface irregularities.

No matter your signs of aging or skin damage. We have a chemical peel that will work for you. Contact our office today to learn more about our med spa treatments.
