Here at Brandon Plastic Surgery, we perform a less invasive type of brow lift that has a shorter recovery time called the lateral brow lift. This type is perfect for addressing some of the most common facial concerns such as a drooping brow or crow’s feet. This type of brow lift also only consists of skin tightening and does not move the underlying muscles. With a brow lift, you can open your eye area and smooth out the lines that have set in with the presence of loose skin.

How is a Lateral Browlift Performed?

A lateral brow lift is performed in the office under local anesthesia and has little risk of infection or complications due to its less invasive nature. The skin is pulled and tightened through a small incision made at the hairline, which can be easily hidden once healed. This type of brow lift removes excess skin that “hoods” the brow while also lifting the outer corners of the forehead which can reduce the look of crow’s feet. An instant result is available even without tightening the underlying muscles.

How Do I Know if it’s Right for Me?

If you are interested in learning more about the lateral brow lift, Dr. Sheinbaum offers a complimentary initial consultation to help you decide whether or not a lateral brow lift is right for you and your aesthetic concerns. During this time, you will also have the opportunity to look at before and after images of previous patients.
