- Anchor Breast Lift: An incision around the areola, descending vertically toward the lower breast crease and then extending horizontally across the crease; this allows for the most lifting
Breast Lift with Implants
If you want to add more volume along with your newly lifted breasts, a breast lift can easily be combined with implants for a breast augmentation and lift. At Brandon Plastic Surgery, patients have the option of saline, silicone, or “gummy bear” breast implants. These implants come in a tear drop shape for a more natural look or round shape to add more volume. The size of your implants is also customizable and if you have asymmetrical breasts, implants of two different sizes can be used to create a proportionate contour.
Breast Lift with Implant Revision
If you already have implants, a breast implant revision can also be performed along with your breast lift to give your chest a full rejuvenation. You might require an implant revision if you have an implant rupture or if you have developed painful capsular contraction. Breast implant revision can also be done if you want to increase or decrease your breast size or if you want a different shaped implant.
Breast Lift with Breast Reduction
A breast reduction is a surgical procedure that removes fat, skin, and glandular tissue from the breasts to make them smaller. If the nipples or areolas are asymmetrical or enlarged, this will also be corrected to create a proportionate look. Breast reductions are easily combined with breast lifts. When excess breast tissue is removed, a lift is also needed to restore a perky shape and improve sagging skin that results from large breasts.
