Introduction: As we age, breasts lose their natural support and firmness. Perhaps they have fallen from breast feeding, pregnancy, or age.  Mastopexy is a procedure to essentially “lift” and reshape your breasts. One or both sagging breasts are moved back to higher more natural and youthful position. Your breast lift procedure may sometimes be combined with breast implant augmentation to enhance cleavage and fullness. Often breast implants alone may correct a small amount of breast sag.

Technique: A breast uplift uses similar incisions to a breast reduction but preserves and tightens your existing loose breast tissue.  Typically only excess skin is removed.  Depending upon your personal needs, the incisions may be placed around the areola, vertically or horizontally. Your Breast lift procedure, with or without breast augmentation, can be performed as a same day outpatient basis.
