During liposuction recovery, you should avoid rigorous activity, however, it is recommended to walk as much as possible to help prevent blood clots. Once fully healed, patient should begin a regular exercise regimen. According to the Mayo Clinic, adults need at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity, or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week. Strength training is also important and should be done at least two times a week.

Eat Nutritious Foods

Without a healthy diet, exercise will do little to keep your new figure. Patients should incorporate more veggies, fruits, whole grains, and lean protein into their diet. Also, be sure to limit your intake of sugars, simple carbohydrates, and saturated fats. Remember- the main goal of your diet should be to provide nutrients to your body for a healthy and strong you!
