What is Radiesse?

How Radiesse Works

Radiesse is formulated with microspheres of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA), which are suspended in a water-based gel.  Once Radiesse is injected under the skin, it creates immediate volume. However, the filler continues to work as it stimulates collagen production over time. With time, the gel is then absorbed into the body, and the CaHA microspheres are metabolized, leaving behind only your natural collagen.

There is very little downtime needed after Radiesse injections, and normal activities can generally be resumed. However, to reduce swelling, you should be gentle with your hands for the first 24 hours. Results are immediate, and can last up to one year!
